Work Description
Supplemental to Steel Stairs #1 & #21. Structural steel miscellaneous iron, shall conform to ASTM A-36. Wide Flange members shall conform to ASTM A-992 Fy=50 KSI. Pipe Columns shall conform to astm a-53 Grade "b". Steel tubes shall conform to ASTM A-500 Grade "B" Fy=46 KSI.2. Bolted Connections shall conform to AISC specifications, using bolts conforming to ASTM A-307 and connecting material conforming to ASTM-A-36. 3. Use E-70 Series Electrodes.4. Welds shall be uniform in size and appearance and free of pinholes, porosity, and other defects5. Field welding shall be done under continuous inspection of a registered deputy building inspector. 6. All steel members, connection plates, and bolts to be stainless steel or heavily galvanized.
