I need to put a new roof on a commercial property I just bought because it's leaking. It is a gable roof. The current roof consists of asphalt shingles with metal roofing over it. I will replace both compromised layers and replace with asphalt shingles and rigid insulation. I have an architect who will work with an energy consultant to figure out proper insulation requirements for the rigid insulations.
Residential reroof only; no structural changes. Remove existing shingles. No planned plywood replacement but if needed will use 1/2" CDX. Install Owens Corning Duration shingles.
