Work includes: 811 utility locates prior to excavation. Pumping and cleaning existing grease interceptors. Excavation to expose and remove existing grease interceptors. Disposal of existing grease interceptors in accordance with applicable regulations. Preparation and compaction of subgrade for new installation. Installation of new 1000-gallon traffic-rated grease interceptors. Installation of new inlet and outlet sanitary sewer piping. Installation of new cleanouts and required inspection manholes. Connection of grease interceptor to existing sanitary sewer system. Bedding backfill and compaction around new installation. Leak testing and inspection of installed piping. Restoration of trench areas to a safe condition pending final surface restoration. Coordination of all required plumbing inspections with the City of Austin. All work to be performed in accordance with the currently adopted City of Austin Plumbing Code International Plumbing Code (IPC) as adopted and all applicable local regulations.
