Work Description
This project will replace failed waterproofing at an existing 4th floor roof area. The existing low-slope roof assembly is split-slab construction consisting of a structural concrete substrate a waterproofing membrane applied directly to the structural slab approximately 2" of rigid insulation above the waterproofing membrane and a 2" concrete topping slab that serves as the finished roof surface. Remove existing shingles. No planned plywood but if plywood is needed we will replace with 1/2" CDX. Install Owens Corning Oakridge shingles.
Construct alterations for telecommunications facility (AT&T) at site enclosure and roof level of multifamily building per plan.
Replace roof membrane at approximately 100 square feet.
Residential reroof only; no structural changes. Remove existing shingles. No planned plywood replacement but if needed will use 1/2" CDX. Install Owens Corning Duration shingles.
Adhere new roofing membrane directly over the existing roof system
