We request acceptance of the 50 psf current live load capacity of the existing floor structure in the historic Crummell School, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, which is being renovated for use as a Community Center by DGS and DPR. Section 1206 of Chapter 12 of the ICC Existing Building Code allows for the following Exception: "The code official shall be authorized to accept existing floors and approve operational controls that limit live load on any such floor."
