Addition and/or Alterations - EZ PERMIT DUCTWORK & WARM-AIR APPLIANCES - For the installation of New Ductwork, Registers/Grilles/Diffusers, and Warm-Air Appliances as per attached standards. Deviations from these standards require submission of construction and site plans. MULTI FAMILY - EACH HVAC UNIT TO BE SELF-CONTAINED WITHIN EACH DWELLING UNIT. NO PENETRATIONS OF RATED ASSEMBLIES. The scope of work is to cap and remove all exisiting ducts from the first to second floor ito eliminate the penetrations of rated assemblies. Also, relocating the return in first floor (near entrance) AND installing 2 new registers in the new bedrooms. Unit one ( first floor) will utilize the exisiting 3 ton unit, heat pump, and existing ductwork. Unit two (second and third floor) will not have a central air, for the time being. A seperate permit will need to be obtained after this work is completed.
