Pertaining to this permit, we will demo the existng wood staircase for the existing deck attached to the back of the house. The new staircase will then be built with a similar layout to the old, including stair treads, risers, and handrail. Posts to support new stairs and landings will be built on 6x6 posts with concrete footers. Posts will sit on top of footer secured with a post bracket. Landing will maximize available space, including space created by fence relocation. Note: Per code requirements, footer is to remain exposed post-inspection. All stairs, rails, landings, and posts to be built with standard pressure treated lumber. Staining or painting is not included. All hardware to be standard galvanized decking hardware.
