Work Description

Addition and/or Alteration - DEMO: • Provide labor to remove existing cabling from workstations and coil for re-use, or leave coiled on tray and labeled for future use on 5th Floor. • Provide labor to remove existing cabling from workstations and coil for re-use, or leave coiled on tray and labeled for future on 6th Floor. HORIZONTAL CABLING: New cabling will be Superior/Essex Category 6A plenum rated 4-pair. • Provide labor to reinstall one hundred forty-three (143) cables coiled in ceiling on the 5th Floor, provide labor to reinstall one hundred thirty-three (133) cables coiled in ceiling on the 6th Floor and provide and install one hundred one (101) new Category 6A cables into the following configurations: ¿ Two (2) flush mount single locations ¿ Nine (9) surface mount single room scheduler locations ¿ Twelve (12) surface mount single wireless access point locations ¿ Three (3) ceiling mount dual locations ¿ Fifty-six (56) flush mount dual locations. ¿ Ninety-eight (98) furniture mount dual locations ¿ Two (2) ceiling mount quad locations ¿ Four (4) floor mount quad locations ¿ Four (4) flush mount quad locations • Provide labor to install twelve (12) customer-provided wireless access points. • Provide and install Panduit faceplates, surface mount boxes and floor frames as required at each workstation location. • Provide labor to reinstall existing modular jacks and install new modular jacks as required for termination of the 4-pair cables at the workstation location. • Provide and install two (2) Panduit Category 6A 48-port patch panels. These will be installed at the appropriate closet location for termination of the new 4-pair cables installed. Existing hardware will be utilized for overage cables. • Provide and install all necessary j-hooks and mounting accessories as required to facilitate cable distribution. • Bluestone Communications, Inc. will provide labor to test and label all new cabling installed by Bluestone Communications, Inc. throughout the facility.
