Work Description
We will be installing a Manual Transfer Switch which allows customer to connect a TEMPORARY generator during extended outages. The transfer switch is to be installed after the EXISTING Service Disconnect which is to remain. The MTS does have a mechanical interlock that prevents the generator from backfeeding the utility power. We will NOT be installing a permanent generator.
