If the wood decking is board sheathing, any boards that needs to be replaced will be replaced at an additional cost of $6.50 / linear foot. b. In Washington, DC, any roofing work over 100 sq ft requires a permit. You have the option to obtain the permit yourself, or Jacks Roofing Company can acquire the permit on your behalf. If we handle the permit, the cost will simply be added to the contract.
