Work Description
Addition and/or Alteration - Electrical modifications to the elevator and mechanical areas, including replacement of existing fluorescent lighting with LED fixtures in the elevator mechanical room and elevator pit; replacement of the existing fusible elevator disconnect with a shunt-trip breaker style disconnect; replacement of the elevator cab light disconnect with a fusible disconnect; installation of a GFCI receptacle in the elevator pit; installation of a new two-pole 30-amp circuit for the air-conditioning condenser complete with a disconnect; installation of new conduit for smoke detectors in the mechanical room; and installation of new smoke detectors. All work to be done according to the 2017 NEC, 2016 NFPA 72 and per approved plans.
