This project consists of the renovation of an existing two-story brick residence with a cellar, located in the somerset place neighborhood of northwest washington, d.c.. selective demolition includes the removal of interior partitions and plumbing fixtures on the cellar and first levels to facilitate a reconfigured layout. on the first level, interior walls will be removed to create an open-concept kitchen and dining area, supplemented by a new powder room. cellar work includes the demolition of the existing powder room and partitions to allow for the construction of a new office, laundry suite, and full bathroom.
