Addition and/or Alteration - STATEMENT OF WORK: HORIZONTAL CABLING: Cabling will be Superior/Essex Category 6A plenum rated 4-pair and CommScope RG6 quad shield plenum rated coax.. • Provide labor to demo/remove all Category 5/6/6A cables in scope area. Demo scope for this project includes removal of existing wall mount bracket and surface mount boxes for existing horizontal cabling in the existing IDF. • Provide and install two (2) flush mount quad Category 6A locations. • Provide and install nine (9) flush mount triple Category 6A locations. • Provide and install twenty (20) flush mount dual Category 6A locations. • Provide and install seven (7) surface mount single Category 6A wireless access point locations. • Provide labor to install seven (7) customer-provided wireless access points. • Provide and install seven (7) single Category 6A surface mount CCTV locations. • Provide and install three (3) flush mount triple (2 Category 6A/1 coax) TV locations. • Provide and install two (2) single Category 6A flush mount locations. • Provide and install Ortronics faceplates, surface mount boxes, modular jacks, couplers and connectors as required for termination of the 4-pair and coax cables at the workstation location. • Provide and install three (3) Ortronics 48-port modular patch panels, each loaded with the required modular jacks. These will be installed in the appropriate closet location for termination of the 4-pair cables installed. COPPER BACKBONE CABLING: (AFTER HOURS) • Provide labor to relocate existing 50-pair cable from existing Teledata IDF to the new IDF on the same floor. • Re-use of any backbone cable assumes the lengths of these cables are adequate and in proper condition to be re-used in the new IDF.
