Existing slab: 10-foot by 10-foot . New concrete extension: 30-foot by 13-foot joined to the existing slab to form one 40-foot by 13-foot patio. Patio is attached to the house along one 40 side; the other three sides are exposed. The new concrete was not dowelled (no rebar/ties were installed into the foundation). The new concrete section includes two steps. Railing will be installed around the perimeter of the patio and steps.
